Cap & gowns - order online at  Cost is approximately $37.  See google classroom for link & directions.  Orders should be placed by Feb. 18 to avoid late fees.

Attendance News:

All notes to be turned in within 5 days or they will remain unexcused. Students are allowed 6 parent notes for the school year, not by term. Even using a parent note for coming in a few minutes late will count as a parent note. Doctor notes must be originals - copies will not be accepted. When a student has been absent three times per year in any class period, a courtesy letter will be mailed home to the parent/guardian.  If you have any questions let the attendance clerk know, Ms. Rodriguez.

Exciting STEM challenge!!!!  

We are looking for students, student groups, and/ or future entrepreneurs.

The order of Phi Beta Sigma Inc. - Great Lakes Region - Alpha Omega Sigma Chapter Fort Knox will be working with the North Hardin Youth Services Center to host the first annual George Washington Carver STEM High School Entrepreneur Challenge.

This challenge is open to all HCS High School Students.

Background and Purpose

Background: In December 1924, Bigger and Better Business (BBB) became the first national program of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. When BBB was adopted as a national program, special emphasis was placed on encouraging and promoting Negro businesses. At its inception, the program sought to encourage Negro businesses to improve their business acumen, efficiency

and service to the public, to be competitive with other businesses. Today, we continue this tradition of programs in the broader communities we live-in.

Purpose: The purpose of programs that focus on K-12 and college students include:
