Originally from Northern Kentucky, and after spending 10 years in North Carolina at Fort Bragg, my family and I returned to the Bluegrass State. This school year is my 3rd as a Bulldog and I'm proud to be a part of the JHHS Family!
After receiving my undergraduate degree in history, I knew that as much as I loved research and writing, I wanted to do MORE. Teaching gives me the perfect opportunity to help shape the future and share my passion for history with my students. For the 2021-2022 school year I will be teaching: AP World History: Modern, AP United States Government & Politics, World History A, Sociology, Honors World History B, and World History B.
When I am not teaching, I am also a co-sponsor of the JHHS Student Council and a co-sponsor of the JHHS Senior Class.
Outside of John Hardin, I spend the majority of my time raising 5 kids (baby Charlotte joined the family in April 2020)...and probably drinking way too much coffee. On weekends and school holidays, it is not uncommon to find me dragging my children to various museums, historical sites, baseball games, hiking trails, or scout events.
