Welcome to G.C. Burkhead. My name is Emily Ott and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year!  I was born and raised here in Elizabethtown and graduated from John Hardin.

    My husband Brenden and I have two cats, Jean and Josie. I love learning new things. My hobbies right now are playing piano and yoga. We love Louisville basketball and cheering on the Cincinnati Reds.  

    I have dedicated my life to influence others to be their absolute best. We will have many goals throughout this year, just as we have goals throughout life. If we plan to be successful, we only have steps to take to achieve those goals. My promise is to support each of my students to reveal to them their best selves.
