Hello! My name is Sabrina Morgan and I work with Kindergarten at North Park Elementary. I am the KSI (Kentucky System of Interventions) teacher for our school. I am also the Literacy Resource Specialist and the Title I Coordinator.
This year will mark my 22nd year in education in the Hardin County School System. I have worked in the same building for all 22 years! I have previously taught kindergarten, first and third grades before moving into my current role. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University in 1999. I earned my Master's of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Louisville in 2001. I earned my National Board Certification in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood (Ages 3-12) in 2008. And I just earned my Education Specialist - Instructional Principal degree from the University of the Cumberlands in May of 2020. I love to learn and continue growing as an educator!
I live in Radcliff with my husband (Mike), our two sons (Kaiden and Isaac), and our dogs (an Alaskan Malamute named Shado and a Husky/Chocolate Lab mix named Ellie). In my spare time, I love to go camping, hiking, cook, read, play video games, and travel. We stay busy at home with our mini-farm that hosts goats, geese, and a variety of other wildlife that take up residence. I speak German and I sharks!
North Park is an amazing place to grow and learn! We provide the foundation for students to excel in their school careers through social interactions, play, and rigorous academics. We strive to meet your children where they are and move them forward with solid instruction and best practices. Kindergarten is such a vital time for children and we want to provide them with everything they need to be successful humans. We play, we get messy, we have fun, and we learn!
