Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Leslie Rivera and I am excited to be your child's first grade teacher!

I graduated from East Hardin High School, received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Kentucky University and my master's degree as a reading and writing specialist from the University of Cumberland. 

I live in Elizabethtown with my husband Tommy. We have three grown daughters, two living in Lexington and one attending college in Florida. Our family also includes our dog, Molly and our cat, Abbie. When our family is together we love to travel, hike, watch movies, sit by the pool, go to church and root for our favorite basketball team, the WILDCATS (well, we are a house divided, because dad likes the Tarheels )  !
