Hello! My name is Meggan Heady and I am a third grade teacher at G.C. Burkhead Elementary. I have been teaching in Hardin County since 2005. I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Kentucky in 2002. My family consists of Matt, my daughter Sara, my three yorkies, my cat, and a talking bird. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, eating crab legs, taking long naps, singing, acting, and river rafting. Besides my family, my true passion is teaching. There is nothing in the world I would rather do than teach. I feel very lucky to come to work everyday with the opportunity to help students reach their full potential.
