My name is Angie Brown and I have been teaching at G.C. Burkhead since 2005. I have taught both 1st and 2nd grades. I am currently one of the MTSS/KSI teachers and work with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

      I graduated from WKU with a degree in Elementary Education.  I continued on at WKU to finish my Master's degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in technology.  

    My husband John and I were married in 1997 and we have a 24-year-old son named Reece.  We also have an English Bulldog named Khloe Bells and a cat named Santana Marie.  As a family, we enjoy spending time together swimming, working out, vacationing, and riding jet skis at the lake. 

    It is my desire to be a positive, encouraging, and empowering role model to all my students.  I have high expectations for EVERY student and I will push each one to realize that potential!  I look forward to an AWESOME year!
