Graduate of University of Kentucky with BA in Psychology in 1998.  After graduation I served in the U.S. Army as a Mental Health counselor and medic.  After leaving the army, I earned my Masters Degree in Exceptional Education from Western Kentucky University, and Rank 1 in Reading and Writing Specialist from University of the Cumberlands.  I am a Special Education teacher and IEP Case Manager.  I have been teaching for 15 years here at West.  I am a married mother of two and enjoy going to my children's sporting events, spending time with my dogs and goats, and relaxing on the porch with a cup of coffee and a good book.
