August 2018 marks the beginning of my 26th year in education with Hardin County Schools. Twenty-two of those years were spent teaching predominantly math, but also French I, science and reading to middle school students at Bluegrass Middle School, Radcliff Middle School, and West Hardin Middle School.  This is my fourth year as a Gifted and Talented Resource teacher.  During my time as a GT teacher, I have served at Radcliff, James T. Alton, and West Hardin Middle Schools; North Hardin High School; and Howevalley and Lakewood Elementaries.  I LOVE what I do!

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Transylvania University and my ranks II and I, as well as my GT endorsement through Western Kentucky University.

My husband and I have been married 25 years.  We have three daughters: 21 year old twins Emily and Katie and Ellie 17, all of whom are seniors this year.  We also have one insane beagle named Lucy and a very sickly kitty, Gracie, who is 15 years old.  

In my free time, you might find me reading a good book, working-out at the gym, listening to live music, or hoofing at my Thursday night tap and jazz dance class.
