As I complete my 23rd year as an educator in Hardin County Schools, I am happy to say that I love what I do and I can't imagine doing anything else. I graduated with my first Masters in Education from Western Kentucky in 1983. I followed that up a second Masters in Education from Western Kentucky in 2005, in Exceptional Child. I began my teaching career at John Hardin High School. John Hardin High School has been my home. I love what I do at John Hardin High School, the staff, and the students. John Hardin is truly a family.
Besides coaching the JHHS Archery and the JHHS Boys Bowling teams. I have served as a member of the KHSAA Board of Control, for Archery since 2012. Some of my other areas of interest include hunting, fishing, and being a grandpa. One thing that takes up a large amount of my personal time is I am a registered KHSAA Official. I have officiated baseball, basketball, football, and softball since 2001.
I am the father of four wonderful children. They have given me the opportunity to be a grandpa to six boys and two girls. That has been the best time of my life. Two of my children are proud John Hardin High graduates.
