I am so excited to be a Trojan! I began teaching in 2016 after completing my Ph.D. in fish biology at Saint Louis University. While in graduate school, I studied the genetics and ecology of darters (really cool and colorful freshwater fish that you can find in local rivers). I love bringing my science background into the classroom and telling my students about all of the cool things around them every day!
In my free time, I love hiking with my dog, Illini, and playing volleyball.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can help your student in any way. Go Trojans!
