The Hardin County Schools Family Resource and Youth Services Centers are working together to provide Back to Schools Festivals (or “Fests”) at the three HCS high schools in July 2021.

“Our FRYSC coordinators started planning this event well before school was dismissed for the summer,” HCS Director of Health and Family Services Janay Sutton said.  “These Back to School Fests will provide an awesome opportunity for our families to have a ton of fun and learn about our many community partnerships in one place on one night.  These evenings of fun will be in addition to the traditional open houses that are held at each school.”

HCS will share information later in the summer regarding individual school open houses where students and families meet their teachers, school staff members, etc.

Students and families in each segment of the county may attend the festival that is closest to them.  Community organizations and partners will have back to school information and other fun items.  The Salvation Army will provide free hot dogs and water.  Door prizes, Kona Ice, music, school supply assistance sign-ups, a photo booth and various other activities are planned.

The “North End Schools Trojan Fest” will be conducted on July 19, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm at North Hardin High School.  Students at the following schools are invited to attend:
