Hardin County Schools will participate in a state-wide initiative that reminds the public of the significant roles that Kentucky public schools play in our state’s success.
The Kentucky Association of Educational Cooperatives, Kentucky Association of School Administrators, Kentucky Association of School Superintendents and Kentucky School Boards Association are launching a collaborative effort to highlight the effort of Kentucky’s 171 public school districts. It is called #TellingOurStoryKY.
“We hope to continue to share the Hardin County Schools legacy through the success of our staff and alums through this new venue,” HCS Superintendent Teresa Morgan said. “These stories will heighten the awareness of the wonderful things that are taking place today and in the past.”
HCS will feature a couple of alums and/or staff members each month in a #TellingOurStoryKY social media feature on the HCS Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds. Each of the people highlighted will discuss their public education journey, how it helped mold them, the relationships they created and advice on creating a successful career after graduation.
“We encourage our alums and our community to share these features on their social media accounts,” Mrs. Morgan added.
“Public education is an essential piece in the success of any community. We know our students, staff and alums continue to work hard right here in Hardin County and across the globe.”
