Hardin County Schools is encouraging its students and families to “Cuddle Up and Read” during nontraditional instruction (NTI) and after NTI is complete.
The HCS library media specialists collaborated to create a webpage - CLICK HERE - that provides resources for student reading. It includes links to school webpages where information from specific school library media centers is housed. The site also provides links to the Hardin County Public Library and a digital library card, each school’s Destiny Online Catalog and the HCS Sora E-Books account.
“We know students may not have access to the wonderful reading resources to which they are accustomed when face-to-face instruction is taking place,” HCS Director of Innovation Brandy New said. “This website will help our students find some helpful ways to learn, have fun and spend quiet time with their family. We hope families can enjoy these resources together and help their children understand the importance of reading.”
