All students at all schools will receive a free breakfast and free lunch during the 2022-23 school year. This is because all HCS schools are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision. CLICK HERE for more information on CEP.
However, the Kentucky Department of Education, the United States Department of Education and other agencies require a school district's Free/Reduced Lunch data. Since all students at all schools will receive a free lunch, there is no need for families to apply for a free/reduced lunch. But, the data that comes from the F/R application is still required by several agencies.
Therefore, all HCS families are asked complete the Household Income Form. You can get the form from your school, print it from the link below or wait until the electronic copy that can be submitted online is published (there will be a link below). If you print the form or receive it from your school, please submit it to your school office when it is completed.
