My name is Kayla Berg and this is my 10th year as a teacher and my 9th year at North Middle School.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary Education and English with a minor in Spanish.  In December 2016 I finished my Master's Degree in Library Media Education.  I'm currently working on my Doctorate in Gifted and Talented Development.

My husband Jake and I have been married for 9 years, but we are middle school sweethearts so we've been together since we were 13 years old!  Together we have a daughter, Emmeline, who is six years old.  Jake works as a data analyst for a company in Louisville.

In my free time, I like reading, watching movies, sewing, roller skating, doing DIY projects around the house, and playing board games.
