STATEMENT FROM HCS SUPERINTENDENT TERESA MORGAN
Hardin County Schools will be in session on Friday, April 13, 2018. We have discussed this issue with the Hardin County Education Association and all agree that having school is truly the best and most student-centered approach.
We certainly support public education and our staff members who work extremely hard each day to mold our students and prepare them for the many chapters of life.
We also believe representation in Frankfort is essential as our lawmakers make decisions that impact students, educators and the future of public education in Kentucky.
Hardin County Schools and HCEA have established a plan to make sure there are representatives from across our district present at Friday's rally in Frankfort.
We know these are trying times and there are a lot of questions. Even among all of this, we will continue to focus on our students and their needs. We appreciate our community’s unwavering support for our students, our staff and our schools. We are blessed beyond measure to call Hardin County home.
