  LMC Mission Statement

-to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to academic research, reading for pleasure and life-long learning with current and accessible resources.

Vision Statement

The Library Media program, whose goals align with North Hardin High School, provides access to current information and ideas for all users. It affords opportunities for students to appreciate literature and the cultural arts; to learn creative thinking skills; to become critical seekers of information and ideas, and to use instructional and educational technology effectively to develop independent life-long learners and decision-makers.

Thanks to the diligent work of the library aides, clerk, and specialist, the LMC (Library Media Center) now categorizes its fiction and nonfiction by genre. There are also three gathering areas: a large section of tables in the front, the loft area, and the newest area of flexible seating in the back. Take time to visit and enjoy the LMC!
