HCS SEEKS FEEDBACK ON NON-TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION (NTI)

When Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear made his recommendation on March 12 that Kentucky schools not open for an extended period of time, Hardin County Schools teachers, instructional assistants, principals and administrators started work on a plan to bring the best instructional practices possible to students through non-traditional means.

That non-traditional instruction (NTI) remained in place through the remainder of the school year.  HCS now feels it is time to gather feedback on its NTI strategies from students, parents and teachers.

“Hopefully we will never be in a situation that requires us to use NTI for an extended period of time as we have during this phase of the COVID-19 pandemic,” HCS Superintendent Teresa Morgan said.  “However, we want to be prepared for whatever challenges the future brings and having the input of all stakeholders will help us improve our performance and meet the needs of our students and our families.”
