Students at College View receive comprehensive academic, career, and social/emotional counseling with an emphasis on returning to a regular school setting with the necessary tools for success. Our goal is to assess where a student is through individual counseling and data analysis and then develop a plan for academic success through consultation and collaboration with families, teachers, therapists, and other community organizations, using available community resources.

Hope Janes graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Campbell University where she was a member of the track and cross-country teams. She received a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Western Kentucky University. Mrs. Janes served as a National Board Certified English teacher at Cumberland County High School for 10 years before accepting a position as Instruction Specialist. After two years in that role, she served as Guidance Counselor for three years before moving to Elizabethtown.
