Hello, my name is Hannah Hobbs and I am very excited to be a second grade teacher at Woodland Elementary. This is my ninth year teaching, and my fifth year at Woodland. I absolutely LOVE being a Woodland Eagle! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University, my first Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgetown College, and my second Master's Degree in Learning and Behavioral Disorders from Georgetown College.
I was born on Ft. Knox and I graduated High School from John Hardin. I enjoy playing guitar, playing disc golf, reading, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my husband and our pets- Catso, Bayli, and Bear.
Teaching is my calling! I have always known that I wanted to teach. There is nothing I enjoy more than teaching my students new strategies that will help them in the real world. My students are my world!
My Mission Statement
My mission as a second grade teacher is to provide a loving environment for my students and a supportive environment for their families. I want all of my students to surpass their goals and become better leaders. I want my classroom families to feel welcomed to contribute in the learning process.
