Meet the Coordinator…..

Tiffany Garrett

My name is Tiffany Garrett; I started as the Coordinator here at Rineyville Elementary in January 2020. I grew up in West Virginia, and now reside here in Hardin County Kentucky with my husband and two daughters. I have worked in a variety of settings with youth and their families and now I am so excited and blessed to have this opportunity to work with you and your family here at Rineyville Elementary.  Rineyville Elementary has a dedicated faculty and staff that are committed to your child’s education and success. I invite you to visit our Family Resource Center or call 270-769-9039 to get more information on parent/child activities and ways our FRC can help your family.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-2:00pm, however later hours are available by appointment.  You can also reach me by email at tiffany.garrett@hardin.kyschools.us

Where is FRC Located?

The Family Resource Center is located in the front of the building near the main office area, Room 112.

What is a Family Resource Center?

Family Resource Centers were created as a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act of 1990.  The primary goal of the Rineyville FRC is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by helping the students and their families overcome barriers.  This is accomplished by providing students with services at the center and linking students and families to community services and agencies as needed.

Advisory Council

This Family Resource Center has an active Advisory Council that meets at least 5 times throughout the school year. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings. The major purpose of the advisory council is to provide the center coordinator with input, guidance and recommendations with regard to the planning, development, implementation and coordination of center services, programs and activities. (Meetings for the upcoming school year will be announced in July 2020)
