Dear Radcliff Elementary Family,
It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I welcome you to what is certainly a most unprecedented school year!
A special welcome to our new students and families and to our returning students and families! I hope everyone had an opportunity to relax and recharge.
My name is Lisa Sturman, and it is my distinct pleasure to return as Radcliff Elementary’s principal. This is my second year at RES; last year I served as assistant principal before serving as interim principal. Prior to that, I spent a number of years at North Middle School as teacher, interventionist, and assistant principal.
Although this year may look a little different, the faculty and staff at RES is dedicated to the growth and success of your child(ren). Our enthusiastic teachers and assistants are hard at work planning, preparing, and teaching relevant and engaging lessons. Our friendly office staff is registering students, ordering materials, and updating student files. Our upbeat cafeteria ladies are preparing, serving and packing healthy meals to eat at school and at home. Our hard-working custodians are cleaning, sanitizing, and cleaning some more.
I am delighted that you are a part of our learning community. Your participation and involvement is key to the success of our students. The school-home connection is vital to our shared vision of growing Respectful, Empathetic, and Success-driven young men and women. Although current health trends keep us from sharing school events/ news in person, we will be sharing as much as possible virtually:
Like us on Facebook - we will be hosting live events
Sign up for classroom dojo - weekly messages are posted
Visit our webpage for changes, updates, and links
Update new phone numbers so that you can receive one-call messages
I am proud of what we are doing at Radcliff Elementary, and look forward to continuing a tradition of educational service to our families and community.
I am available through email, phone, and/or appointments. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel I can be of assistance or service.
Yours in Education,
