I am so excited to meet and get to know all of my new students and families! I hope you are looking forward to coming to North Park- It is the BEST place to learn and work!
I graduated in 2008 from Western Kentucky University with my degree in Elementary Education. In 2011 I finished my graduate studies through the University of the Cumberlands and received my Reading/Writing specialist certification. This class will be my 11th group of students. I worked as a substitute teacher and as an instructional assistant for Hardin County Schools before joining the North Park family. I taught one year in a 1st/2nd grade split classroom and have been at North Park since 2011. I love teaching kindergarten because I get to see students learn and grow so much. I look forward to all the fun we will have together and all of the progress students will make this year!
We are very fortunate to have an instructional assistant with us all day. Mrs. Barb and I have worked together for four years. She has been working with students in Hardin County for 20 years. She is a wonderful teaching partner and I know she is excited to meet everyone as well!
My family is from Hardin county and we currently live in Radcliff. I have a husband named Joshua and a son named Harrison. Harrison attends the awesome preschool program at North Park. We enjoy spending our time together reading, playing, swimming, and visiting other family members.
Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns. Kindergarten is such a big change for kids and families. We can work together to make this an awesome year!
