WHAT IS THE FAMILIES F.I.R.S.T. RESOURCE CENTER?
Families F.I.R.S.T. Family Resource Center was created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. Our goal is to remove barriers to a child's success in school.
We offer a variety of services to provide academic support, meet basic needs, and link families to community resources. Our funding comes from the Cabinet of Health and Family Services, Department of Education, and Hardin County Schools.
WHO RUNS THE FAMILIES F.I.R.S.T FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER?
The center is staffed with a Coordinator, Outreach Liaison, and a Parent Educator. There is an Advisory Council made up of North Park parents, staff, and community members. The Advisory Council meets every other month. The meetings are open to the public. Please contact the center coordinator for more information.
Services are available to ALL children and families of North Park Elementary School. The center is "family focused."
