How does the media center impact student learning?
Mr. Farmer frequently works with teachers at our school to teach technology and research skills
2. The STLP (School Technology Leadership Program) meets regularly to work on projects for our school
They also run the morning announcements for the whole school!
3. Research shows that having a qualified media specialist working with students has a
huge impact on student achievement. One study in Ontario 2006) showed that,
"The presence of a school librarian was the single strongest predictor of reading enjoyment
for both grades 3 and 6 students." (source)
