Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace

By: Samantha Sheeran and Bethany Riggs

Students at Upton Elementary that earned 100 points got to go on a fieldtrip. First we went to the Lincoln Museum. We looked at figures of people. They showed Abraham and his family in their house. It was like a time line of his life.

After that we visited Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace. We walked on the Boundary Oak trail. Also we had to do a treasure hunt. Mrs. Connie gave us a worksheet. She had hidden eggs with a prize and the answer to questions about Abraham Lincoln. The first person to find the egg would keep the prize, find the question and the answer. Then they would put the answer back in the egg, and go find more eggs.
