Hardin County Schools will sell the Brown Street Education Center at a public auction on March 23, 2017 at 5 pm.
HCS has most recently used the property located at 400 Brown Street in Vine Grove, Kentucky as home to the district’s alternative education program for middle and high school students and for Hardin County High School, an alternative track to a high school diploma.
All of these programs moved to the College View Campus (the former G.C. Burkhead Elementary School located at 521 Charlemagne Blvd in Elizabethtown) at the start of the current school year.
The building sits on 4.75 (+/-) acres and measures 46,331 square feet with 3,604 square feet in the basement. Its zoning designation is “conservation, R-2 residential.”
There will not be a buyer’s premium at the auction. All instructions on the day of the auction will supersede any advertisements about the auction.
