About Mrs. Fohl:
Hi! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. My name is Lindsay Fohl. I am currently in my 3rd year as a 3rd grade teacher here at Rineyville Elementary School and I absolutely love it! This will be my 7th year teaching altogether. I live in Elizabethtown with my husband Mike and my 7 year old lab Jinxy. I grew up in Rineyville playing on my Papaw Jenkins' farm land, so teaching students at Rineyville feels right at home and has a special place in my heart.
I graduated in 2010 with a dual certification B.S. in Early Elementary Education and certification in the areas of Birth-5 years of age. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education in the Literacy Specialist program through the University of the Cumberlands. I am half way done! Wahoo :-)
My first teaching job was at G.C.Burkhead Elementary school in E-town. After 2 years of teaching there, my husband joined the Air Force, so I traveled with him for a couple of years. We lived in Mississippi and then moved to New Mexico for a few years. I taught 2nd grade there. When we moved back home in the fall of 2014 there was a related arts position open at Rineyville and I jumped on that opportunity! The next year I was given another wonderful opportunity to teach 3rd grade.
I love to be outside and run and spend time with my family and friends. If I have time throughout the school year to fit in a good book, I like to read also.
I look forward to working with you and your student this year and watching every child in my classroom succeed.
