I was born and raised in New York State. Go Yankees !! I earned a Bachelor's degree in SocioIogy from SUNY Oswego. Later, I earned my Masters in Elementary Education . I married my husband, Bill, 25 years ago. We have three grown children and two young grandsons. We were an Army family for 16 years and now call KY our home. It has been a pleasure to teach first grade for the past 6 out of 8 years. I am super excited to be a new member of the Woodland teaching staff this year. When I am not at school, you might find me walking my yellow lab, Maggie, in the neighborhood, reading on my front porch, hiking in the woods or kayaking on the lake.
