Ashley Woosley

4th Grade Teacher

(270) 737-7227

Hello!  My name is Ashley Woosley and this will be my 9th year of teaching at Lincoln Trail Elementary.  During this time, I have had the pleasure of teaching 4th grade for my first two years of teaching and 3rd grade for the last six years. I am so happy to return to 4th grade- I know it will be an awesome year!

I want my students to understand that, "Learning is your superpower!"  It is so important to set goals, work hard to achieve them, but most importantly, understand that it is ok if something doesn't turn out the way you want it to.  Last year, I worked hard to help my students understand the power of the word, "Yet."  Instead of saying, "I don't get this!"  You can say, "I don't get this yet." With the right attitude, you will be successful!

This past year, I had the opportunity to be a part of the HCS Innovate Teacher Fellowship program where I collaborated with other teachers throughout the county and learned more about educational technology.  I can't wait to be a part of this group again this school year and bring new ideas back to my classroom and share with the teachers at my school.  Get ready students... I have a lot of neat ideas in store for you!

Looking forward to a great year!
