I am a veteran educator with over 25 years of teaching experience. This is my 16th year teaching in the Hardin County School District. I have also taught in Maryland and Massachusetts.
I grew up in Hardin County and graduated from North Hardin High School. I received my Bachelors in elementary education with an endorsement in kindergarten from Eastern Kentucky University. I received my Masters at Towson University in Maryland and received my Rank I in reading and writing at the Univeristy of the Cumberlands.
My husband also grew up in Hardin County and graduated from North Hardin. He is the director of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) at Ft. Knox. We have two daughters, Shelby and Abby. We also have a dog, Buster.
I am looking forward to working with you and your children this year.
