This is my 11th year teaching French and my 2nd year at CHHS. I previously taught in Colorado then Virginia where I instructed all levels from Exploratory French to IB French V. As a military child and later as a military spouse, I have moved 25 times which provided the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and abroad. I now live in Brandenburg with my husband, Jason, who is active duty Army; our two children, Ian (6th grade) and Linnea (1st grade); and our two dogs, Sam and Morgan.
Why Do I Teach?
Inspired by my previous travels, I moved to Paris after college and lived there for 2 1/2 years. I love the French language and francophone cultures. I desire to share with students the excitement of discovering languages and cultures outside of their own. My goals are to inspire my students to an openness of new experiences while helping them learn to communicate in French and to help them discover their potential and grow into productive, thoughtful members of society.
