I am very pleased to introduce myself as your child’s resource teacher at Creekside Elementary. This will be my fifteenth year teaching, and I am looking forward to the excitement and challenge of helping to make your child’s school year the best that it can be.
Originally, I am from Bowling Green, Kentucky and graduated from Western Kentucky University. Currently, I live in Sonora with my wife and two boys. My wife is also a resource teacher at Creekside Elementary. I received my Masters of Arts degree in Special Education (Learning and Behavior Disorders) from Campbellsville University.
I have high expectations for my students and look forward to helping them reach their full potential. I am also a very positive and encouraging person, which I feel will benefit the students. In addition, I will help provide a warm classroom environment where the students feel safe and motivated to learn.
In my opinion, it is crucial to have open parent-teacher communication in order for a child to be successful at school. Therefore, I encourage you to contact me via phone, e-mail, or by the agenda if you ever have questions or concerns, and I will do the same. I look forward to getting to know you better!
Let’s have a great year!
