It is hard to believe that it has only been a few weeks since school began.  Students at North Park are already learning their routines and expectations, making the beginning of school a huge success!

To continue your child’s school success, below are some tips that we encourage you to try at home.

*Read daily to your child.

*Look in your child’s backpack daily and discuss their work.

*Ask your child about specific subjects at school.  For

example, “Tell me about today’s special.” may offer more conversation questions than, “How was school?”

*Ask about your child’s favorite part of the day.

*Remember that the reward your child wants most is your attention and your time.
