| The Spartan mascot and school colors of blue and white are a few
of the remaining aspects of Radcliff Middle School. Spartans were
the great warriors from the Ancient Greek city-state of Sparta.
While in Greek Mythology, the Spartans fought the Trojans from Troy
in the Trojan War, that is only partially the case at North Middle
School. One of our rival schools, James T. Alton Middle School has a
Trojan as their mascot, but our primary feeding high school, North
Hardin, has a Trojan as its mascot. Needless to say, we are proud of
the accomplishments of both the Spartans and Trojans!
