In the school year 2006-2007, NHHS had 362
registered and approved adult
volunteers.

There were 109 approved
NHHS volunteers who actually
reported hours.

The total amount of
time reported for approved
NHHS volunteers
during this time span was
15,145.5
hours.
* Unfortunately, there were a little
over 4800
hours worked by volunteers who were
not approved. These hours could not count in our
total.***
I think all of our
hard working volunteers (which include many of our own
faculty and staff) deserve a round of applause. Our school,
and many of our programs, simply would not function as well
without them. If you see a NHHS volunteer today, remember
to tell them Thank You.
*** No program, activity,
event, coach, coordinator, etc. should be utilizing a
volunteer who has not achieved approval status from the
board. The paperwork process is simple and painless and
should be followed per Board policy and state law. If you
chose to do this, you open yourself to personal liability.
