My name is Kaytie Georgel.  I am married and have three children. Currently I am attending Western Kentucky University. In May, I will finish my Masters Degree in Elementary Counseling. Outside of school, I enjoy watching my oldest daughter play basketball, spending time with my family, and doing fun things outside. I am also a big Louisville Cardinal Fan.

   I have been a Special Education Teacher at New Highland for 4 years although I have been teaching for 10 years. Currently I collaborate with the second grade teachers. Since New Highland is an inclusion school, I try to service my special needs students within the regular classroom using the core curriculum with modifications in order for all my students to be  successful.
