SBDM Meeting

Minutes

 

    1. Opening Business – Mr. Sullivan called the meeting to order at 5:04.

          Members present- Mrs. Keeler, Mrs. Ashlock, and Ms. Roby.

           Visitor- John Ballard

a.      Agenda Approval

     Mrs. Ashlock moved to accept the agenda.

     Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

     Consensus

b.      July Minutes Approval

      Mrs. Ashlock moved to approve July minutes.

      Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

      Consensus

c.       Good News Reports- School is off to a great start.  Mr. Ballard was assigned to Meadow View in the supplemental support from Central Office.

d.      Public Comment-N/A

    1. School Improvement Planning Report

a.      CSIP – Mr. Sullivan will take the CSIP to the red team in two weeks for review.

b.      Enrollment Update – We have 477 enrolled at Meadow View Elementary.   The classrooms are pretty even across the grades.

a.      Local budget

     Mrs. Ashlock moved to accept local budget report.

     Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

b.      Munis Budget

     Mrs. Ashlock moved to accept per pupil budget report.

     Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

a.      By-law revisions Second Reading

   Mrs. Ashlock moved to accept the revisions in the by-laws.

   Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

a.      Setting Meeting dates

Mrs. Ashlock moved to change the SBDM meetings to the 2nd Wednesday of the 

                         month at 4:00 in the school library.

Mrs. Keeler seconded the motion.

b.      Policy revision plan-Discipline policy needs to be revised.  Mrs. Tarquinio will take the policy to the Green Team for revision.
