All About Me

I just wanted to share a bit of information about myself with you.

Professional - I've been teaching for thirteen years and have been a 4^th grade teacher all but two of those years. I’ve taught eight years at Lincoln Trail. Before coming to Lincoln Trail, I taught at Lynnvale Elementary for five years. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in May of 1997; Magna Cum Laude with a teaching certification in grades K- 4. I have also completed a planned fifth year program at Western Kentucky University, which means that I have completed 32 hours of graduate courses. I also have a Reading/Writing endorsement Rank I from the University of the Cumberlands.

Personal - I am both a wife and a mother. I have been married for 29 years to my husband, Mike. We have two sons, Andrew and Brent. Andrew currently serves as the Youth Minister at First Baptist Church of Sonora and is working on his Master of Divinity at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Brent attends the Speed School at University of Louisville and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently working as an engineer intern at Cook Medical. As a family, we enjoy spending time together. In my spare time, I enjoy reading. I am a member at Valley Creek Baptist Church.
