 Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Lincoln Trail PTA is an active local unit of the National PTA, the nation's oldest and largest association devoted exclusively to caring or the health, education and safety of American's most important resource-YOUR CHILDREN.

Join the PTA and support your child and the school. Becoming a PTA member does not mean that you will have to volunteer at school or serve on a committee but if you are able and willing, your help will be appreciated. Several vital programs and services are provided at our school through the efforts of the PTA. Become a part of PTA.

The objects of the PTA are as follows:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
• To raise the standards of home life.
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of the children and youth.
• To bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
• To develop between educators and general public such untied efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

Volunteer of the Month: February

 The Volunteer of the Month for February is Dana Smallwood!

In addition to being an active classroom parent, Christina serves as Volunteer Coordinator for the LTES Spring Festival over the past couple of years coordinating over 100 volunteers throughout this fun event for our children, she is also the Lincoln Trail Elementary PTA Treasurer, assists with the school’s Little Ceasar’s Pizza Fundraiser, and has pitched in numerous times when help was needed.
