Ipads & ThinkPad Tablets
@ JHHS
To ensure consistency and uniformity among devices, apps
must be loaded only by LMC staff members. Teachers should request the
installation of "free" apps in advance of use. Students should not
attempt to install or delete apps from the devices.
Teachers should ensure that each device has been powered
OFF. Charging cables are available and may be requested for use.

Tips and Tidbits.....
*A mini-lab of 10 tablets is available for classroom use. Make
reservations for use with Ms. O'Daniel.
*To open available apps, tap the APPS icon in the upper
right corner.
*To search the internet, simply tap the EARTH on the
Launch Zone in the center of the screen. Google will open as the
browser.
*ThinkPads are USB friendly! Students may copy
information from their USB device, and they may save a file to their USB

USB device. Using a USB.

Tips and Tidbits.....
*A mobile lab of 30 Ipads is available for
classroom use. Make reservations for use with Ms. O'Daniel.
*Ipads do not have a USB port.
*To search the internet, go to Safari or tap the Google
app is it is loaded on the Ipad.
*iClould is not available to HCS network users. A
method by which students may save files created on the Ipad is "in the works."
*Students should NOT connect Ipads to the charging cable
on the cart. Care is required in connecting Ipads to their charge cables.
The classroom teacher should do this.
*The classroom teacher should ensure that each Ipad has
been returned to its correct "slot" on the cart.
It's easy to find great app recommendations by searching
the web. Here's an example.
