International Club

The International club is one that celebrates diversity in music, food, dance and other cultural differences. We meet once a month after school, where a different culture is highlighted by a student from that area. Slide shows and discussions with question/answer period educate students to the many different cultures represented at JHHS. Students volunteer to bring in food native to their culture so that everyone might get a taste of something new and different. We also take field trips after school to different ethnic restaurants, with a representative from that culture describing the traditions etc - whenever possible a school bus serves as our transportation. Only those seriously interested in studying cultures different than their own should join.
