	Ms. Stacy's Origami Flower
	1. Place a square piece of origami paper on a hard surface color side down. Fold paper in half by making a taco fold. Crease. Unfold.
	2. Repeat the taco fold with opposite points from step 1. Crease. Unfold.
	3. Fold in half again, this time making a hot dog fold. Crease. Unfold.
	4. Make a hot dog fold again with opposite sides. Crease. Unfold.
	5. Now take left edge of paper to center line of the square. Crease. Take right edge of paper to center line. Crease. Unfold both sides.
	6. Fold top edge down to center line. Crease. Fold bottom edge up to center line. Crease. Unfold both top and bottom.
	7. Your paper will now have three creases going up and down and from left to right. Your paper will also have an "X" crease too.
	8. Take each point of the square and fold into the center, where the diagonal creases meet. Crease each fold.
	9. Turn origami over.
	10. Take each point of the square and fold into the center, where the diagonal creases meet. Crease each fold.
	11. Take each point and fold it out toward the outer edge three-quarters of the way out. Crease well.
	12. Turn origami over.
	13. Take each middle facing corner of each square and fold toward outer edge as far as it will go. Crease.
	14. Turn origami over.
	15. Fold in half like a hot dog. Crease. Unfold. Repeat step folding opposite edges together. Crease. Do not unfold.
	16. Hold the origami between thumb and index fingers at top left and right corners. Push corners toward center.
	17. Wrap a pipe cleaner or floral wire around the base of flower for a stem. Shape petals and leaves of your flower with your fingers.
