The Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence is an education advocacy organization based in Lexington, Kentucky. The committee works to improve education for all Kentuckians.

KASA, founded in 1969, is the unified professional organization for more than 2,500 educational leaders across Kentucky. KASA's mission is to draw upon the strength of school leaders' diversity to best serve the needs of Kentucky's children and school administrators by continuous improvement of education through professional development of strong leaders, advocacy for the welfare of children, and effective participation in shaping education policy.

The Points of Light Foundation, founded in 1990 by former President George Bush, is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that promotes volunteerism. It is the nation's leading advocate for and authority on volunteering. The Foundation was created in an effort to tap the creative energy of the people and its organizations to connect communities and individuals.
