Sallee and Mrs. Jeffries' room and the 2010-2011
School Year!
We are so happy to
work with your wonderful children this year.
Notes:
-
Agendas are used
on a daily basis to communicate homework,
behavior, and other needs. Please check it
daily.
-
Our class uses
the ticket system - start on green and pull
a ticket for inappropriate behavior.
Stay on green and earn $20 Cub Cash at the
end of the day. Stickers are also used
to earn a trip to the treat box. Ask
your child what color they were on the end
of each day.

Each week
spelling words are given on Friday so that
the students have them over the weekend.
The test is given the following Friday.

If your child
has not mastered the sight word list, they
will have sight words in a baggie to work on
each night.

AR goals are
given each month and time is allotted during
the day for Library check out. Students have
time to read in the classroom each day.
Teachers also read books aloud daily.
Monday through
Thursday homework will be assigned, usually a
spelling, math, and/or reading activity that
should take no more than 20-30 minutes to
complete.
