Pam Harlow

Special Ed. Teacher

I teach students with mild mental disabilities. I was hired in Orlando, FL
as an agriculture teacher and began my teaching career teaching horticulture to
special needs students at a school that was entirely made up of special
needs students.  It was at that time that I knew that I loved teaching
students with cognitive disabilities and wanted to continue to work with
them.  So at that time, I moved back to Kentucky, began teaching in Hardin
County and went back and got certification in Special Education.  In 2002, I
got my National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.  I
love working with students who have unique learning needs and their
families!
I enjoy planting flowers in the spring, reading, and occasionally enjoy
basket making when I have time.
