Junior and Senior Language Arts Teacher

   Hello and welcome to my web page!  I am beginning my 18^th year of teaching.  

All of which have been here at Central Hardin.  Although at various times I have

 taught all four levels of English, I currently teach English 12, Honors English 10

 and Greek Mythology, World Mythology and Creative Writing.  In addition to

 my teaching duties, I am also the building coordinator for Central Hardin’s 

Extended School Services (ESS) and the summer school coordinator.

Hailing from Franklin Crossroads, I am a native of the area.  I graduated from 

West Hardin High School in 1985 where I was blessed to have such wonderful

 teachers that inspired me to pursue a career in education.  I graduated with a 

BA in English and Allied Language Arts Education from Western Kentucky 

University in 1992.  Continuing my course work at Western Kentucky University,

 I received a MA in Secondary English Education with a major in English and a

 minor in Education in 1996, and I obtained a Rank I in Secondary Guidance 

Counseling in 2006. I now live in Elizabethtown with my husband, Scott, and 

our two children, Kaitlyn (9 years old) and Will (6 years old), and our cat, Callie.
