Course
Description:
This course develops an awareness of wildlife industry
resources. The course includes: a study of ecology and ecosystems, wildlife
habitat, population dynamics, management techniques that deal with wildlife in
all areas and the regulations that affect the wildlife industry. The content
may be enhanced with appropriate applied scientific laboratory activities and
computer applications. Leadership development will be provided through FFA.

Expectations
for this course:
Each student will be expected to keep a daily notebook and to participate in all class activities. Throughout the course of the class, you will be doing individual and group activities, and both written and hands-on projects. Each student will also be expected to have an agriculture experience program and keep proper records.

Grading:
Grades will be based on exams, quizzes, daily work, and landscape project participation. The notebook will count as one quiz grade. Exams will have the highest weight, followed by the quizzes and group projects, and lastly, the daily assignments. The CHHS grading scale will be used.
