STLP Summer Camp

Dates: May 21, 22, 23

Time: 8:00 – 3:00

Location: Bluegrass Middle School

Hardin County Schools will be hosting three Student Technology Leadership Camps this summer.

Space is limited to the first 90 elementary, 60 middle, and 60 high school students.

Lunch will be provided and the camp is free.

Camp Dates and times

May 21 – Elementary students(any student who will be attending elementary school in the 2012-3013 school year)

May 22 – Middle school students (any student who will be attending middle school in the 2012-3013 school year)

May 23 – High School students (any student who will be attending high school in the 2012-3013 school year)

Elementary students will rotate through 6 stations, learning a variety of skills involving Blabberize, News Production, Skype, Claymation, PowerPoint/Prezi, and MovieMaker

Middle and High School students will choose one of the strands below and stay in their area of choice all day.

TV Production – learn all aspects of producing a to quality broadcast, utilizing video mixers, audio mixers, titlemakers, graphics, and green screen technology. Students will produce a short video during this session.

Digital Photography – learn how to create professional level digital photographs using a simple digital camera. The instructor of this session has had state championship award winners for the past two years.

Presentation Tools – learn how to use a variety of presentation tools including Prezi, ExtraNormal, Blabberize, Voki, MovieMaker, to name a few.

Animation – learn how to create your own animated cartoons or mini movies utilizing Go anime, Pivot, Animate, ExtraNormal, and much more.
